You can install the slider on the website easily. It also has several benefits. To make it easier to understand, this article will discuss the benefits of sliders and how to make sliders in WordPress easily.

Utilizing Sliders on the Website

Slider or carousel is one of several frequently used website features. This feature will display images that change automatically or when you click, the image will make the transition by itself. You might be more familiar with this feature by the name of the slideshow.

Slider displays the latest article information or articles that are intentionally pinned (pinned) so that it can appear on the first page. This will make it easier for visitors to open the latest articles.

Also, those of you who have an e-commerce website can use the slider feature to introduce the product being promoted, the product with the most sales, or the mainstay product. The content displayed in the slider section can steal the visitor’s attention more than any other content.

So that the content on the slider can attract the attention of visitors more, you can do some variations on the slider. The slider allows you to add several effects or modifications. For example, adding transition effects, modifying text, and even creating unique buttons on the slider.

By utilizing these features, you can change the appearance of boring slides to become more attractive and beautiful. Of course, this can also affect the impression of visitors when visiting your website pages.

When should you put the Slider on the Website?

Although there are many benefits of sliders on the website, it’s better to be wiser when to add sliders to the website. You must first look at the type of website and what its purpose is.

There are several slider installation options on the website. Most websites install a hero slider at the very top. This is used as a replacement for the header.

In addition to using the slider to replace the header, some website developers install the slider precisely at the bottom. The goal is none other than because you want to display some comments or testimonials from customers who have worked together.

Whereas on the news website, the slider is not only for displaying written content, but also some short videos that automatically run related to the news being read. Installation of content like this can attract visitors to see the video that is served.

Too many sliders that you put on a web page can cause the website to not work properly. The slider that contains a large enough content can make the website slow to download and navigation of visitors becomes chaotic. But if you can use it wisely, sliders can be a powerful weapon to get more clients.
